TRIFIC is a self-sustaining ecosystem with its own in-house:

  • 23 MVA power substation with two dedicated 66kv lines
  • 7.5MW diesel generated power plant
  • Vast rooftop solar panel installations with a 2.4MW capacity
  • The region’s largest reverse osmosis water treatment plant with capacity to treat 2 million liters of water per day
  • 1,500 cubic meters per day sewerage treatment plant (MBBR)

Providing for:

  • 99% reliable power supply
  • 85% of gray water is recycled and treated to WHO standards
  • Drinkable quality tap water

Smart City Environment.

Two Rivers is the first destination in East and Central Africa designed as a smart city.

We have installed the first Tier-4 data center in the country, one with the most reliable uptimes within the region. The data center is served by two power providers, Kenya Power and Lighting Company, and Two Rivers Power Company, providing for:

  • GPON ring delivering over 20Gbps bandwidth speeds within the ecosystem
  • Improved LTE network offering 4G/5G from a number of different service providers
  • Triple play connection running over single broadband to deliver internet, IPTV and fixed telephony to tenants and residents
